Tanzanian Safaris
Serengeti | Lake Manyara & Tarangire | Ngorongoro Crater | Zanzibar
Tanzania is a safari marketer’s dream destination. Renowned for some of Africa’s most iconic names such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro it is a country that easily sells itself. On the same route as these icons are lesser known, but no less dramatic, attractions such as Lake Manyara, Tarangire and the original Cradle of Mankind, the Olduvai Gorge.
With many countries in Africa touting their destinations as ‘the next big thing in safari’ Tanzania has begun to develop some of the wildest and most spectacular wilderness areas on the continent in the south and west of the country. Places such as Selous, Ruaha and Katavi have remained unknown and undeveloped for decades – but are names that are about to become legendary.
With some of the continents best wilderness areas Tanzania is also blessed with hundreds of miles of coastline boasting unsurpassed beaches and islands. The best known of these is historical Zanzibar – but there are many more island and mainland beaches to provide for all needs.
